Cameran Triffett

Acting College Principal

Cameran has studied and taught in the UK and USA, completing a Bachelor of Arts Journalism, Bachelor of Business International Business and German, a Graduate Diploma of Education, and a Master of Arts in American Studies at the University of Alabama. He taught at the Bulmershe School in Reading, UK and at The Cathedral School in Townsville before joining St Patrick’s College Townsville in 2016.

Cameran has held curriculum leadership roles as Head of Faculty - English, The Arts and Languages as well as senior leadership roles including the Director of Students, leading student wellbeing and pastoral care at the College. In 2020, he was appointed to the position of Deputy Principal. During his time at St Patrick's College Townsville, he has built strong relationships with staff, students and parents and has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the College.

Amber Hauff | Principal

Jillian Turner

Acting Deputy Principal

Jillian completed an education degree at QUT, Kelvin Grove and over the years has taught Drama, English, Visual Arts, History and Christian Education. Nominated twice for a NEiTA Award, she has served as Director of Marketing, Head of Arts & English, Head of House and Boarding House Parent. Working with students and their families to seek optimal outcomes is her driving force. Jillian has produced 18 performances – from plays to productions - taking on the many and varied roles of producer, director, set and costume designer, stage manager, copywriter, publications designer, theatre liaison officer and choreographer’s assistant.

Jillian’s effervescent approach to life, genuine love of writing, creative flair, significant expertise in event management and meticulous attention to detail, coupled with her extensive leadership experience in the independent education sector provides her with a highly valuable and unique skillset.

Prue Meier

Director of Business Operations

Introducing Prue Meier, a dedicated professional with a passion for education and keen eye for efficient management. As the Director of Business Operations, Prue oversees the strategic and intricate day-to-day business administration of the College, performing the functions of Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary to the Board. Prue holds a Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. With a diverse background spanning the non-profit, mining and government sectors, Prue brings a wealth of experience to the role and ensures a supportive and nurturing environment for both staff and students. 

Beyond her commitment to the success and growth of the College, Prue is a proud mother of two boys and enjoys piecing together a jigsaw, casting a fishing line and spending time in the garden. Prue is an advocate for The Leukaemia Foundation and devoted volunteer at Brighter Lives.  Prue looks forward to supporting St Patrick's College Townsville as it continues to roll out the Strategic and Master Plan.

Gemma Stevens

Acting Director of Boarding

Gemma's journey through education has been a global adventure, driven by her passion for fostering learning and growth in young minds. With a wealth of experience spanning state, private, and independent schools across the UK, South Korea, and Australia, she brings a unique perspective shaped by diverse cultural landscapes. Gemma has a Bachelor in Sport and Physical Education and having held leadership roles including Head of Year, Second in Department, Director of Boarding, and Housemistress, Gemma's commitment to student welfare and development is at the core of her professional ethos.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Gemma's interests are as varied as the countries she's called home. She loves all sport, travelling, cooking, volunteering, reading, and gardening.

Isabel Bowrey

Director of Marketing & Communications

Isabel Bowrey joined the College in 2023 and quickly became a key driver of our branding and communication strategies. As Director of Marketing & Communications, she oversees the College’s social media channels, website, and digital presence, ensuring that the College’s voice is both engaging and impactful. Isabel is also instrumental in executing our events, making sure they are memorable and aligned with the College's mission and values.

A graduate of James Cook University, Isabel holds a Bachelor of Business with majors in Marketing & Communications and Tourism & Sustainable Management. She is passionate about empowering young women in the community and is a committee member of the Townsville Business Women’s Circle.

Outside of her professional role, Isabel is a competitive touch football player. She enjoys playing alongside students on the field, though she often jokes that it’s a challenge to keep up with their pace and energy!
