Study Programs & Tutoring
Study Program
Our boarding students have a strict timetable of study that is outlined in the Boarders' Handbook below.
Following the 3.15pm bell, boarders return for afternoon tea and a period of free time, during which they are encouraged to get some exercise and fresh air.
The afternoon study period takes place from 4.00pm-5.00pm for Years 7 and 8 and 4.30pm-5.30pm for Years 9-12 in the College library or A block classrooms. Teachers and boarding staff supervise these sessions. There are additional study sessions after dinner and optional sessions on the weekends from 10.00am-12noon and 1.30pm-3.30pm, depending on activities scheduled.
Tutoring
All students are able to make use of the College Tutoring Program, at no cost. Teachers and other students volunteer their time from Monday - Thursday to provide tutoring across a range of subjects. Students are asked to check with their subject teachers for tutoring times and opportunities.

A Ministry in Mercy Partners
Acknowledgement of Country: We give thanks and respectfully acknowledge the Wulgurukaba people, the Traditional Custodians of this beautiful country whose land our College shares. We recognise their ongoing deep spiritual connection to this Country, and the care they gave for thousands of years. We also acknowledge the Bindal people as the neighbouring Custodians of their Country. We pay our respects to the Elders, past, present and emerging and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here today.
